It’s that time of year again and Dining City’s Shanghai Restaurant Week is back, running from 26th March to 26th April, which is quite a long “week”. As always, you have to do your homework to uncover the best bargains, but I promise you, there are bargains to be had. I kicked off Restaurant Week with a weekend brunch at Highline on the 6th floor of The Ascot, near Xintiandi. For just 118 RMB, you get a selection of starters, mains, a side and a dessert, as well as a soft drink.
If you haven’t been, Highline has a lovely roof terrace as well as a bright indoor area that’s great for the early spring weather.

We enjoyed everything as there were three of us dining and everything was great. For 118, it’s a steal!
