Colca

Avocado toast at Colca

One of my favourite restaurants in Shanghai, Colca is part of Eduardo Vargas' vast and long running restaurant empire that has been around as long as I've been in Shanghai. Some of his concepts have been short lived, but Colca seems to be in it for the long haul. The food, I guess, is loosely based on Peruvian cuisine, Eduardo's home country, so you'll find a lot of Ceviches and other dishes with Latin American flavours. The venue itself is fairly spacious with a central patio which is great in the warmer months. They also have brunch sets where you can select a starter and main for around 180 RMB and if you're feeling indulgent, a free flow beer and wine option is available for around 150 RMB.
